toured around the Marina district, malls, malls, malls, one connected to the next, one can walk for two miles and never actually go outside.
mostly quite western, one more packed than the next. countless eating establishments, Starbucks not only in every mall, but on every floor and each end of every mall.

'food court' with outposts cooking not only every imaginable asian fare: Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, Singaporese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Siamese, but mind numbing sub-varieties of said general categories.
One can get practically anything except one thing:
NAPKINS. other than at the hotel we haven't been offered a napkin anywhere:
food court at mall, fine dining restaurant, street vendor, Indian fastfood.
Taking about finger licking good. Am avoiding shaking hands at all costs.
